Personal Statement About The Artwork:
"My painting style is not influenced by any particular artist. I tend to find a subject of my own interest and either take a photo or make initial sketches on site with pencil and paper, then translate it to the canvas or paper."
"It is my belief that art of any kind is a personal calling that is meant to be shared with many. While I paint for my own pleasure and at my own pace, my intention is to always produce work that is instantly recognizable by others allowing the viewer to enjoy it more quickly."
"There is no great meaning embedded in my work and it is not intended to challenge the mind. Rather it is simply meant to be pleasing to the viewer. My work dose not express any point of view or inspire one to ponder the meaning of life. It is only to make the viewer feel more tranquil and at peace with themselves and the scene or subject that is presented."
